Refreshing Infused Water!

June 30, 2015

Infused water is super simple and refreshing! It is a great replacement for any sugary drink like soda, juice or even some flavored waters on the market. Water is extremely important in keeping us healthy; it regulates body temperature, protects vital organs, promotes healthy digestion, and keeps our skin looking healthy. Infused water is a tasty way to increase water intake and is even kid-friendly! They are loaded with fruits, veggies and herbs, all you have to do is add all the ingredients together with water and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour (preferably overnight) and drink up! Here are some of my favorite recipes:

  • Beat the Bloat:

Nobody likes to feel uncomfortably bloated, water-rich foods like cucumber and lemon can help you beat the bloat. This drink does not need refrigeration and can last on your counter for up to three days!

  • Strawberry-Pineapple Goodness

This fruity infused water is not only refreshing but can also help you relax; Sage is an herb that has been used in aromatherapy for relaxation for years. This drink is a perfect way to unwind after a long day.

  • Berry Bomb

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz water

  • 1/4 cup black berries , whole

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

  • Tangerine metabolism booster
