Autumn Love - Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie


My favorite of all seasons is here…Autumn! That means beautiful scenery as leaves change colors, a perfect chill in the air and pumpkin-flavored everything! I plan on going pumpkin picking in a few weeks and I will be getting two pumpkins, one to carve and have fun with and the other to make a pumpkin smoothie!

After doing some research, I found a perfect recipe for a simple and delicious pumpkin smoothie. It only has about 6 ingredients and a total prep time of ten minutes. You can enjoy it as a guilt-free dessert. Who doesn’t love those!

Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Smoothie:

  1. ⅔cup pure pumpkin puree

  2. ½cup vanilla yogurt

  3. 1cup coconut milk

  4. ¾cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  5. 1½cups crushed ice

  6. Whipped cream and cocoa powder, for serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place the pumpkin puree, yogurt, milk, and chocolate chips in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  2. Add the ice, blend until smooth and frothy.

  3. To serve, top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
