Mindful Strength Training

Mindful Strength Training incorporates the functional and corrective exercises of personal training with the mindfulness techniques of yoga and meditation.


In a comfortable and peaceful environment, we will first work to correct any muscle imbalance caused by habitual movement patterns, then develop a training program to suit your physical goals.


Working one-on-one, we will use various techniques and equipment, i.e., resistance bands, weights, exercise ball, and your own body weight (YOGA!) to systematically strengthen and open your body. Each session ends with guided meditation and savasana, to ensure you leave feeling rested and balanced - Body AND Mind.

Meet Your Trainer

Lucas Hall (E-RYT, NASM)

Co-Owner of NY Loves Yoga.
As a former dancer; body conditioning was part of my everyday routine.  I was introduced to yoga in 2003 by one of my dance instructors as a way to further develop my core stability and to steady my wandering focus. 
It wasn't until I moved to New York City and began working at NY Loves Yoga on the Upper West Side, that I became further engaged and passionate about the yoga world.  I quickly noticed the powerful effect yoga had on my life, both physically and mentally, and witnessed first-hand the powerful transformation of the students who attended the studio.
With a lifelong passion for self development and the desire to help others be their best selves, I traveled to Bali, Indonesia to study the teachings of yoga with the renowned and brilliant instructors Everett Newell & Katherine Girling (Zuna Yoga, where I completed the RYT teacher training certification.
You can join my group classes at NY Loves Yoga ( Wednesday at 7pm and 8:30pm, and Saturday at 9:30am.
