Our 10hr 'Being & Becoming' Meditation Course dives into the subtle art, science and practice of meditation. Whether you are new to meditation, a yoga teacher, a curious meditator, or a health professional wanting to incorporate breath and meditation practices into your work, this course might just be for you ;)
You'll learn about meditation's ancient roots and look at the most recent scientific studies in mindfulness. We'll explore key pranayamas (breath practices) and meditations which promote peace, ease and stability in the heart and mind. We will draw upon diverse methodologies and traditions, like; Tantra (Sri Vidyā), Hatha Yoga, Buddhism, Hinduism and mindfulness. The morning practices will gradually deepen your inner experience, leading you towards Smarana (self-remembrance), a restful and present state of being, where ones able to witness their limitless potential.
One thing is for sure, you will walk away with a deeper understanding and experience of meditation, with the tools to create and implement a nurturing and effective practice for yourself.

Already a teacher of voice here in NYC and with a background in dance, Lucas’s skill set of body/mind conditioning and how to motivate and empower his students is one of his most enticing qualities as a yoga teacher.
