Pranayama &
Meditation

Teacher Training/Immersion
with Lucas Hall
January 21- February 10, 2023
Our 22hr Pranayama and Meditation training is a deep dive into the subtle energy of the yoga tradition. Whether you are a yoga teacher, a curious meditator, or health professional wanting to incorporate breath and meditation practices into your work, this training might just be for you ;)
This program is intimate (only 12 students, min 6), it's detailed, systematic and highly experiential. It follows the following format; lecture, practice and integrate (how and when to teach). NY Loves Yoga is not a one-style-fits-all yoga studio; we pride ourselves in offering various lineages of yoga, and our Pranayama and Meditation training reflects that, drawing upon diverse philosophies and methodologies; Tantra (Sri Vidyā), Hatha Yoga, Buddhism, and modern science. The commonality that threads throughout this training: A nurturing and respect for all traditions, practices and beliefs.
Each person will receive one-on-one mentorship time with Lucas, and a track to teach a Karma-Love Community Class after graduation.
One thing is for sure, you will walk away with a deeper understanding and experience of the pranayama and meditation, subtle energy and be equipped with the tools to create and implement a nurturing and effective experience for yourself and others.
Yoga/meditation experience preferred. There will be a little light asana classes incorporated in the training

Q & A
We are inspired you're interested in joining our program. It's our goal for it to be an in-depth, fun and ENLIGHTENING journey. By the end of our training, you will have the knowledge and skills to guide students through a well-rounded and effective pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra practice.
Q. I WANT TO GO DEEPER IN MY PRACTICE, HOW DO I DO THAT?
A. That's great. Our 22-hour training is also ideal for those who want to dive deeper into the study of pranayama and meditation and to improve their practice. You can’t get these teachings from books alone. Go to the source and dive deep into the technical and philosophical knowledge from a teacher who is living it!
Q. HOW WILL YOU TEACH ME SO I’M CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO TEACH?
A. That’s where dedication, patience and experience come in. Our training is systematic and detailed; we have included time concentrating on how to teach. We are devoted to sharing our wisdom and technical skills making sure you have teaching scripts and detailed class blueprints; by the end of the training, you've worked through your fear and lack of confidence. We get it!

A. Yes! With the successful completion of all the requirements of the program, you will receive your Yoga Alliance 22-hour certification from Lucas & NYLY.

A. Yoga Alliance is an organization that was started in 1999 as a way to create nationally recognized standards for yoga teachers and yoga teacher trainings in the US. More and more yoga studios across the country are requiring their teachers to register with the Yoga Alliance, either at the 200-Hour or 500-Hour level. Yoga Alliance registration, however, is not a legal requirement for teaching yoga. Currently, there are no legal certification requirements to be a yoga teacher. The NY Loves Yoga are approved at the Yoga Alliance 200-Hour and 500-Hour level in the United States. Lucas is certified to teach CE (continuing education) credits.
