Welcome to yoga! Come on in :) We love new yogis at NY Loves Yoga. Our environment is welcoming, joyful and supportive.
You may have questions-- What am I getting myself into?! What classes should I go to? Do I have to be flexible and strong?
The first thing to consider is Private Yoga Sessions or Group Yoga Classes?
Working one-on-one we introduce you to physical postures, important breath techniques, meditation techniques and yoga philosophy. You will learn poses that show up most at NY Loves Yoga. If you are working with any injuries, we show you how to modify to suit your needs.
Classes are held in our beautiful studio overlooking our garden patio. We have everything you'll need; bring a curious mind and we will take care of the rest.

A great way to start a safe and productive yoga practice.
If you have awareness of your body through other forms of activity, then group classes at NY Loves Yoga may work for you. You do not have to be flexible or a muscle bound to do yoga. For group classes, you will need to support your own body weight and get up and down from the floor with little effort.
Yoga is about meeting your body where you are. The classes listed below are slower in pace and give variations on poses.
